(Is Asia still safe to travel?) Singapore has 43 cases of novel coronavirus infections, more than Hong Kong

An international business conference in Singapore has been related to confirmed patients in four countries in Europe and Asia. Three additional cases of suspected community infection were added yesterday in Singapore.

British Gas Analytical Instruments held a meeting at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Singapore in January. After 109 participants confirmed that two South Koreans and one Malaysian were diagnosed with Wuhan pneumonia after returning to the country, the third and first British citizens were also diagnosed. Been to the meeting and another Singapore employee was diagnosed the day before yesterday.

Three new confirmed cases were reported yesterday. The patients are Singaporeans. They have not recently visited China or had contact with confirmed patients.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) said last month that vaccines are being developed and testing will begin as soon as April. Australian, French, and Chinese scientists have also joined the developments, but experts say the vaccine will be available in large quantities after a year.
